Prince Charles - now with wingsHeir to the throne saves the world Prince Charles has obviously made quite an impression on his tour of Brazil, where a giant bronze statue depicting a winged Prince of Wales is to be erected in a town square. The square is to be named the Prince Charles Square in his honour. The body of the statue boasts bulging muscles and the head shows a certain amount of artistic license, with a full set of hair and small ears. 'It is Prince Charles saving the world,' explained Jose Wilson Sequeira Campos, the governor of Tacantins state. Charles was presented with a foot-high replica of the statue by the artist, Mauricio Bentes, and said he was 'amazed' and 'deeply touched' by the tribute. |
